Power Supplies
This transformer is at the minimum output required for powering a BeagleBone. For configurations with capes, external hard drives, or Sabre Lite boards, a 10w (2A) to 15w (3A) transformer should be used.
5v, 12w or 18w Power Supply
DigiKey 12w (T1064-P5P-ND) or 18w (T1075-P5P-ND) 5.5mm x 2.5mm positive cente power supplies.
This is an inexpensive option to use with an existing USB power supply. Keep in mind that many USB power supplies are under 1A making this only an option for the BeagleBone.
